We've got some good news and some less good news depending on your outlook. If you're a "Good-News-First" guy or gal just keep reading. If you're a "Less-Good-News-Depending-On-Your-Outlook-First" guy or gal, skip ahead.

Citrus Valley Playhouse is on the road to becoming a regular feature on KJZZ, 91.5 FM! The NPR-member station and CVP are laying the groundwork for a co-production tentatively titled "Project 2012: Stories for Arizona's Centennial Celebration". When it's funded, Project 2012 will produce approximately fifty radio stories annually. Each story will focus on Arizona History and Culture in the run up to the State's 100th birthday.

If you'd like to hear a Project 2012 demo featuring Wallace from the Wallace and Ladmo Show, click Here.

This is a great opportunity to continue the mission of Citrus Valley Playhouse in a way that offers better, more constant exposure.

However, the development of Project 2012 leaves time for little else...

Our next live show will be postponed for the meantime - or, in the words of Mitt Romney and Hillary Clinton - merely "suspended". But like Mitt and Hillary, you can bet we'll be running again! Our intention is to improve and re-format the live show so it can be a more frequent event - on stage and on the air!

For those who have already purchased tickets for "An Election Carol" at the Tempe Center for the Arts, refunds are in the process. But if you tune into KJZZ sometime before the '08 election you'll probably hear the story of John McCain being visited by the Ghosts of Arizona Presidential Candidates Past, Present, and Future.

Because of your past support, a great opportunity lies ahead for Citrus Valley Playhouse. We'll be sure to keep you posted on all the good news.

All the best,

Brian Nissen
